Include images in campaigns
Which ever method you use for inserting images into your campaigns, keep the file size small in order to provide the best experience for your subscribers and avoid slow load times.
Link to images from a campaign
This is method is available for all phpList account types
This method of inserting images does not include the image within the campaign itself, but instead links to it from another location. When campaign emails are viewed, these images will be loaded from their remote location in real-time.
To Insert or Edit image, open the Image Properties dialogue by clicking the postcard icon on the toolbar.
To use method your images must already be hosted somewhere online and accessible via URL For example the image may be on your company website or a social media page. You then need the image URL to add the image to your campaign. The image URL will end in an image file type, for example .jpg or .png.
- First copy the image url.
- Paste the URLinto the URL box on the Image Info tab
If the image has been successfully added, you will see it in the Preview box. If you see a broken image icon, then there is likely to be a problem with the URL that you have used: make sure it is the URL for the image itself, and not for an .html web page for example.
